Luke Schembri - Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner

Pain shouldn’t keep you from what you love. Whether shoulder pain is affecting work, you’re training for a half marathon with a knee niggle, or you want to stay active with your grandchildren — I’m here to help.

Based in Lower Kingswood (Tadworth), minutes from Kingswood, I provide evidence-based physiotherapy in-clinic and online. With experience across the NHS and private practice — from active adults to elite performers — I focus on clear diagnosis, tailored exercise and progressive rehab to resolve pain, rebuild confidence and keep you active for years. I have a special interest in osteoarthritis (OA) and complex MSK, while treating the full range of back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee problems.

What Is An Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner?

An Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner is an experienced physiotherapist with post-graduate MSK training who can assess, diagnose and manage more complex presentations. As an advanced physiotherapist, I provide:

  • Thorough history and physical examination

  • A clear working diagnosis and step-by-step rehab plan

  • The ability to arrange imaging (X-ray, ultrasound or MRI) when it would change your care

  • Injection therapy where appropriate, within scope and guided by evidence

  • Close liaison with your GP/consultant and referral when needed

I have a special interest in osteoarthritis (OA) and complex MSK cases, while treating the full range of back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee problems.

I appreciate that some people are not 100% ready to book a physio appointment and prefer to talk about their options first before committing to anything. Sometimes it’s because you’ve had a bad experience in the past. For others it's because they don't fully understand what physiotherapy can offer.
