I'm Luke Schembri, founder of Genuine Physio. Before starting the clinic, I spent nearly 15 years working in the NHS and advanced musculoskeletal services, assessing sports injuries, persistent pain and complex musculoskeletal conditions, including patients seeking a second opinion.
My role wasn't simply to provide treatment. It was to assess complex problems, refer for, and interpret imaging, work alongside consultants and help people decide whether they needed physiotherapy, an injection, surgery or simply reassurance and the right plan.
I created Genuine Physio because I wanted to bring that same level of assessment, explanation and decision-making into a clinic where people have the time to ask questions, understand their options and feel confident about the next step.
